Welcome to the inaugural post for my Hi/Lo Monday Mashup!!

Just because you don’t have an unlimited budget, doesn’t mean you can’t have a fun, stylish space that inspires you and brings you joy!! One of my favorite things to do; mixing the high and low is part art and part science.

Don’t compromise on quality - make sure the lower pieces are made of quality materials and solidly constructed [even if “solidly constructed” means your hubby on the floor tightening the screws of that wood IKEA cabinet you assembled lol]

On the flip side, make sure the expensive pieces are timeless and you’ll enjoy for a long time.

This Monday Mashup has a mid-century flair, clean lines, and deep rich color.

The wood tones bring in warmth as does the textured bedding and decorative pillows. The fun lines of the table lamp break up the clean lines and add a touch of the unexpected.
