Cristina DePina, NCIDQ

Cristina DePina is the founder and principal designer of C. DePina Kitchens + Interiors and the creator of Renoversity™, a national renovation education platform for homeowners. She brings more than 20 years of experience across residential interior design, kitchen and bath design, and construction management.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Cristina began her studies in Business Management at the University of Massachusetts. Her entrepreneurial instincts were clear early, but so was her pull toward the creative. She made the leap to the Washington DC Metro area, where she earned a BA in Interior Design from Marymount University while working for a local residential design firm.

After graduating, Cristina joined Hughes Design Associates in Northern Virginia, where she worked on major hospitality and luxury residential projects across the US and Caribbean. She went on to launch her own design firm in the DC Metro area, focusing on turnkey vacation condos, amenity spaces, and model homes for a top regional builder, alongside upscale residential projects throughout the region.

Since returning to Massachusetts, Cristina has worked extensively in the design/build field, deepening her knowledge of construction methods, contractor relationships, and budget-driven design. That experience, across more than 200 renovation projects of every size and scope, gave her an uncommon vantage point: she understood exactly where homeowners were being set up to fail, long before the first contractor ever walked through the door.

Renoversity™ is the result. A renovation education platform built on the same professional frameworks Cristina has used across two decades of real projects, it gives homeowners the planning system, tools, and knowledge they need to manage their renovation like a professional.

Cristina holds the NCIDQ certification, the national standard for interior design professionals, and an active Construction Supervisor license. She is a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association.
