Cristina DePina, ASID

CDID’s Founder & Principal Designer, Cristina DePina, is an award winning designer with over 15 years of experience in the design space.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Cristina began her studies in Business Management at the University of Massachusetts. As much as she loved business and learning all about accounting, marketing and statistics, she knew she had more to offer in the creative arena. An avid painter and maker - she decided to take a leap of faith and move to the Washington DC Metro area, where she attended Marymount University. She earned a BA in Interior Design. while working for a local residential Interior Designer. Upon graduating, she had the privilege to work on major hospitality and luxury residential projects in the US and Caribbean while employed with Hughes Design Associates in Northern Virginia.

Cristina eventually launched her own Interior Design firm in the Metro DC Area, focusing on turnkey vacation condos and amenity spaces, model homes for a top builder, as well as upscale residential projects throughout the DC Metro Area.

Since returning home to Massachusetts, Cristina has worked in the Design/Build field, gaining instrumental knowledge and experience in Construction Methods and Practices; as well as the importance of designing to a budget, and strongly believes in creating beautiful, livable spaces for every budget.

That undying entrepreneurial drive led Cristina to start her namesake design firm, Cristina DePina Interior Design. She is NCIDQ certified and a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). https://www.asid.org/
