Sherwin Williams Color Forecast - 2020

Last night, a fellow creative and I attended the Sherwin Williams ColorMix Forecast in Providence. I love going to these every year - not so much to see what the trend prediction will be, but more to see the presentation and get a little punch of inspiration. It’s usually set to cool music with great imagery, design, and photography.

As an Interior Designer, I’m often asked what’s my “style”. which can be a tricky question to answer!

Being an Interior Designer is about creating and designing spaces for other people, and their style or aesthetic, not mine. That being said - I totally understand what people mean when they ask it - they’re just curious what my home looks like, and which aesthetic I’m passionate about. (BTW, right now my home is a crazy weird mix of styles tossed together with a little bit of mayhem, but shhhhh don’t tell anyone!)

Confession: I love color. Lots of it. Sometimes obnoxious amounts of it. So “Play” is right up my alley.

But, I also love serenity and minimalism and nature-inspired interiors. So “Haven” is also right up my alley.

Luckily, there’s no rule out there saying I have to pick one. Here are some of my fave images from last night’s presentation!
